Dear ICF,

“All in” — is the motto of the worship tour 2009. We realized this motto by founding 1 church 3 locations. And it was worth it! After 1 year about 100 people are going to the celebrations in Rapperswil and Winterthur! With the worship tour “All in” we celebrated this and the fact that smallgroups are springing up like mushrooms and that people are investing their time, money and energy in the church. We stretched our tent pegs and are experiencing growth in all three locations. We are excited about God and overjoyed with all the people and their stories with God.

ALL IN Worship Tour!

The first ICF worship tour is already part of history! ALL IN was also the slogan of the program which Leo and the worship crew of Dave Kull had as they travelled through Germany and Switzerland. 16 cities were hosts of the ALL IN tour, 4 ICFs in Germany and 12 in Switzerland. Everywhere the buildings were full of people who wanted to experience God. Many of them gave their lives to Jesus and can now be integrated in the community of the ICF that hosted. Apart from the many conversions we were happy to know that through the way we are and through the great number of people coming to our church, we are a source of inspiration and vision to many of the ICF hosts. Shortly before Christmas will be travelling around with our musical tour. Thank you so much for all your prayers!

Cinema OPENING CELEBRATION in Winti On Sunday, 6th September we officially opened our newly renovated cinema in Winterthur with over 160 people. The celebration with Leo and the ALL IN worship tour was phenomenal. Many people stood up with Leo’s invitation and said YES to Jesus for the first time. Another moving moment during this historic evening was the farewell of Daniela and Josia Pantli. It is a privilege to be part of the ICF movement. The potential in Winterthur alone is really huge and godly. We are making a church for people who do not know Jesus yet. This excites me. Keep on praying. ALL IN! Danny Gassmann

Ladies Lounge 09

Fall is just before us and for us women this means one thing: It is time for the best event of the year, the Ladies’ Lounge! The conference takes place on the 6^th/7^th of November 2009. We are looking forward to seeing you and your friends. We want to experience God, enjoy community and be pampered with a range of different possibilities!

Community Festival on the Josefwiese

On Saturday, August 29^th there was a feeling of excitement and nervousness as ACTS, International and other ICF sub-ministries launched their first-ever Community Festival on the Josefwiese. This festival was designed to bring the spirit of God’s love as a blessing for the hundreds of people and families that use this fantastic park. Along with the parks regular features of water, grassy fields and climbing areas, the church supplied an inflatable bouncy house, a ball toss, live music, open-air cinema, food, and a huge crane challenge. One of the co-ordinators of the event said, “This day is really a fantastic step forward for ICF. Usually people come to the church when they have questions or are seeking. This time we go find them.” In anticipation of the multi-lingual needs of the community, copies of the Bible in 16 different languages were gathered and volunteers with fluency in a variety of languages were on hand to answer questions at information tables. Congratulations ICF, it was fantastic!

Farewell of Daniela and Josia Pantli

During the opening celebration of the cinema in Winterthur and the ALL IN tour on Sunday, 6^th September, Leo bid farewell to Daniela and Josia Pantli who had been the leaders of the Winterthur location. They both did a great job founding the location and leading the team over the first few years. We wish you God’s blessings in the future.

The Pantlis will continue living in Winterthur. They are expecting their first child in October and for the moment they are leaving ICF.

Since July 2009 Danny Gassmann has taken over the leadership of the Winterthur location. As we are starting a morning celebration with Sunday school as of next year, Dominik and Gloria Laim will join the team next spring. What the team will look like next year is not clear at the moment, but it will be developed step by step.

Baptisms in ICF

On Sunday 26^th October we will once again have baptisms during the celebrations! For all of those who are interested in the baptism: smallgroup@icf.ch.

On Saturday, 25^th October the official baptism preparation (Big Day) is taking place.
