Dear ICF, In September 107 small group leaders met for a relaxing vision evening in the restaurant Desperado. In the past year many new groups were founded. Each of you open your house and make fellowship, discipleship, experiencing God, and multiplication possible. Thanks for your great job, your dedication and your endurance. Since the summer holidays a remarkable amount of people have been giving their lives to Jesus! By integrating them into small groups they find a home, learn what it means to follow Jesus, and can experience God. That is why we are building the church: So that people can get to know Jesus and live a life in abundance. Let’s use the possibility of inviting our VIPs to the celebrations, the Ladies’ Lounge and at Christmas.
Warm greetings

Newcomer
Ben Grero originally comes from Colomba in Sri Lanka and was invited by a friend to come to ICF International 5 months ago. Since then he has come to the celebrations regularly and has become a part of our church. Why do you go to church? “I am excited about all the people here and how they give their lives to God so he can lead them. Through this I was able to experience God’s unconditional love and he has changed my life. Now I am involved in organizing most of the events and activities of ICF International and I really enjoy doing this.” Just a little while ago you gave your life to Jesus and you were baptised. What has changed since then? “My sins have been forgiven – a great burden is gone! I feel the Holy Spirit in me, who makes the impossible possible and gives me strength. I am excited about everything he does with me and moves through me.”

Full dedication for the building up of the team
Atmosphere of something new to come – new teams are being built up in Winti. At the moment we are working on two great teams: for one the “celebration team”: producing, moderation, working with technical equipment, etc. These people are in charge of making the weekly celebrations a Godly highlight. The second is the “team of the atmosphere”: Welcome Bar, ushers, bar team, etc. They are in charge that the people feel at home in ICF, experience fellowship in a small group and use their talents in a ministry. Lukas Baumgartner has taken over the leadership of this team as a volunteer and is going a great job. Thanks for everything you all are investing in ICF through your work!

RapperswilICF Rappi is in movementICF Rappi is in movementSince August we have been having a test phase of broadcasting the preaching from Zurich to Rappi. Though people were sceptical at the beginning it is developing into a success. The broadcasting has brought a lot of advantages but also changes, for example moving the celebration to 11am. To make it possible for families to have fellowship though the time of the celebration is later we are offering a cheap, family friendly ICF-brunch before the celebration. We are putting a focus on the youth and starting the youthplanet. Every second Friday evening we will meet to do a variety of activities. Also our building is coming along! End of September the ground was broken for the second building phase. In spring 2010 we will have new children’s rooms with outdoor seating area, a storage room and a second event hall. Thanks to everybody who has invested time, work and finances into our church!

ACTSCommunal living of the ACTS foundation
Very often people get in touch with ACTS and ask for possibilities of supervised accommodation. The wish for fellowship is the first priority. Often it is family or social problems that trigger the search for a host family or communal living possibility which offer safety and stability. We from the ACTS foundation often ask ourselves what we should do with such requests as there are too few free places. We are looking for people who will open their houses and be ready to share their lives with other people. If you and your family or your communal living colleagues feel ready to do this, please let us know! For further information: acts@icf.ch
